Ianaa Limited (“our Company”) owns a number of game applications (“our games”). Our Company publishes our games on multiple platforms, including that of Google Play, Apple Store, Steam and itch.io. This privacy policy explains how our Company uses the personal data we collect from you when you play one of our games.
UPDATE (24 July 2024): We do not publish to mainland China due to specific licensing requirements.
What data do we collect?
Our Company collects the following non-personally identifiable data:
Batched game analytic and monetisation data through the use of:

so long as they are compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).
Country/regional location of a playing smartphone:
So long as they are compliant with the GDPR.
How do we collect these data?
Should you download a version of our games through the aforementioned platforms, you will see a “location detection” page followed by a “conditions” page on your opening of our games.
Batched Game Analytic and Monetisation Data
Once you agree to both pages, and enter the game, the pre-installed software development kits or plug-ins (“SDKs”) in our games will run to collect batched game analytic and monetisation data.
The collection process in relation to analytics and monetisation data are performed by third party scripts within the SDKs from:

- MoPub,
- Facebook Audience Network,
- AppLovin
- Enhance,
- OneSignal
- Unity Analytics and
- their associated parties
(hereafter collectively the “service providers”)
While the collection process in relation to player’s country/region location are performed by our scripts for once upon the first game launch.
Should you tap disagree on the “location detection” or “conditions” page, our games will immediately close and the SDKs will not run to collect game analytic, monetisation data or country/regional information of the player.
Estimated Country/Regional Location
On your agreeing to the aforementioned “location detection” and “conditions” pages, our games will check your phone’s country and language settings in order to estimate your location without revealing your identity.
How will we use these data?
Batched Game Analytic and Monetisation Data
The batched game analytic and monetisation data the SDKs collected is for the purpose of generating game performance reports. These reports include an overview of:
- Retention rates
- Play time
- Average Revenue of Users
without pinpointing to any individuals.
Country/Regional Location
We use your country and language settings information to tune our in-game language settings. For example, if your phone’s settings show that you are in USA with language settings as English, then we will automatically adjust the game’s language settings to English for you.
How do we store these data?
For the game analytic and monetisation data, they are securely stored with the above-mentioned service providers in the forms of reports. They are not accessible by any third parties.
For the country/regional location detection data for the purpose of setting a player’s in-game language, they are not transmitted to us nor anyone else. They are only kept within the player’s phones.
What are your data protection rights?
Our Company would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
The right to access – You have the right to request our Company for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
The right to rectification – You have the right to request that our Company correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request our Company to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
The right to erasure – You have the right to request that our Company erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that our Company restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to our Company’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to data portability – You have the right to request that our Company transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
In general practice, when requested, our Company will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal data, but as said, we typically do not have personally identifiable data other than in the form of batched cohort reports.
